Featuring family friendly craft soda tappings and a celebration of beers from across the globe, December 31, 2014
New Year’s Eve is right around the corner and this year Brat Haus in Scottsdale is celebrating in a big way. First, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. it’s all about the kiddos with craft soda, root beer floats, pigs in a blanket and grilled cheese sliders.
Then, starting at 4 p.m. and through the night, Brat Haus will toast with different beer tappings from across the globe every hour, on the hour. Here’s the full schedule:
4 p.m. Germany – Spaten Lager
5 p.m. England – Samuel Smith Nut Brown
6 p.m. Ireland – Guinness Blonde
7 p.m. Brazil – Xingu Black
8 p.m. Argentina – Piscola Cocktail
9 p.m. Canada – La Fin Du Monde
10 p.m. USA (east coast) – Smuttynose Finest Kind IPA
11 p.m. USA (midwest) – Bell’s Oberon
Midnight it’s all about Arizona with a special tapping of Four Peaks Sirius Black
To soak up all those suds, Brat Haus will feature themed food pairings including rarebit – a cheese toast from the UK. Also, marinated beef skewers, with grilled onions served with chimichurri dipping sauce – a South American treat. Or try one of Brat Haus’ American food favorites like the pigtail poutine – fries served with squeaky cheese curds and smothered in pigtail gravy or the Arizona burger, a 1/3 pound beef burger with roasted Anaheim pepper, habanero cheese, and prickly pear aioli.
With family fun and tappings every hour, New Beers Eve is the perfect spot to ring in the New Year all day long. Also, be sure to check out the brand new parking lot located behind Brat Haus – accessible from the Sip Coffee parking lot.
