Craft 64 – Scottsdale’s Newest Craft Beer Bar Features 100% Local Taps Perfectly Paired with Wood Fired Artisan Pizza
All local taps! That’s right, 100% Arizona born and brewed craft beer is what they serve at Scottsdale’s newest craft beer bar, Craft 64. With an impressive lineup of 36 tap handles plus more than 50 cans and bottles, it’s easy to see why Arizona is home to an amazing array of craft breweries. Some of the breweries on tap at Craft 64 include SanTan Brewing Company, Four Peaks Brewing Company, Cartel Brewery, Huss Brewing Company, Historic Brewing Company, Borderlands Brewing Company and Prescott Brewing Company. Pair that with wood fired artisan pizza and you’ve got the makings for a new favorite lunch or dinner spot in Scottsdale.
Under the watchful eye of local beer expert, James Swann, the tap list is updated daily with seasonal offerings as well as hard to get rare beers and small batches from local breweries. While Swann manages the beer scene, head chef, Horacio “Lachos” Hernandez, is whipping up flavorful creations like the Fico pizza – made with fresh mozzarella, buratta, parmigiano reggiano, truffle oil, arugula and fig sauce. Lachos is a seasoned chef, having spent 17 years making pizza at Arizona’s foremost popular pizzeria. Now, he’s found a new place to hone his craft and play with flavor combinations.
In addition to phenomenal craft beer and pizza offerings, Craft 64 is also home to an expansive wine list and a fresh variety of salads like the Kale Pear – made with rainbow kale, butter lettuce, creamy pumpkin dressing, craisens, pumpkin seeds, parmigiano reggiano and sliced pears. Or, try the Caprese Salad with heirloom tomatoes, fresh basil and house made mozzarella.
Craft 64 is creating quite a buzz around town as fans of great food and local beer are making their way over to check it out. Everything is made from scratch daily from fresh, local ingredients. Craft 64 features a comfortable neighborhood atmosphere with a secluded and relaxing patio in Old Town Scottsdale. Housed in one of Scottsdale oldest standing houses, Craft 64 is open daily from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. and is located at 6922 E. Main Street in Old Town Scottsdale, just east of Hotel Valley Ho.
