Game of Thrones Party at Millennial Brewing

Game of Thrones Party at Millennial Brewing

Last Sunday night was a big night.  It was the season premiere of Season 7 of Game of Thrones!  Ricky could care less about the show, as it’s not his style, but I love it and have even read most of the books as well.  So of course I was excited about the premiere.  And even more excited when I found out that one of my favorite breweries in Fort Myers, Florida, was having a party to show the episode!  I somehow convinced Ricky to join me (I think it was the promise of beer after drinking water all week), so off we headed to Millennial Brewing.

We ended up taking Charlie along (I claimed he was a direwolf), and we had some time to kill, so first we stopped at Old Soul Brewing along the way.  We lucked out, because it was “Soulmate Sunday”, and we got a free flight.  Score, especially since I also had a coupon for a BOGO pint there also.  We ended up getting the flight and two pints for only $6.  Can’t beat that deal!  Oh, and Charlie made another couple of doggy friends there too.

We got to Millennial super early, but by doing that, we managed to snag two prime spots at the bar.  They had two TV screens and a projector screen to display the show on later, and we were right up front.  They had a few problems with the projector, but it all got straightened out only a few minutes after the show had started.  We were watching it streamed from HBO NOW, so we were still able to enjoy the entire season premiere.  And it did not disappoint!  But don’t worry, I won’t spoil it for you.

We also tried some new beers (at least new to us).  One special one that I really liked was their Saison One (a saison, obviously).  It had a nice Belgian flavor to it.  I ended up having two of them!  Ricky ended up getting a flight to try several new ones.  There were also a couple of food trucks there for dinner and dessert.  I got some mac and cheese with BBQ pork on it and some “King’s Landing” donuts from Coasting Donuts.

I’ve decided I really like Millennial!  I’ve been there a few times now, and I enjoy their beers as well as the ambiance.  And now we know they have great events too.  I’ll definitely be back. They are having a Game of Thrones Season Finale party too–you can bet that will be going on my calendar in August.  Cheers!
