Left Hand Brewing Company,
Big, bold Centennial, Willamette, and Cascade hops lead off the aromatics. The ale is clear, full gold to bronze in color. The lighter caramel malts balance some but not all of the hop flavor and bitterness that follows, making for a refreshingly dry but full-bodied session beer. Lacing is just about perfect, leaving a fine curtain down the glass, and carbonation is relatively moderate, making for easy drinking. Rye and Munich malts add depth and a bit of weight. While this Stranger may look a tad forbidding on the label, the beer is anything but.
